@cschmall94 For me I will not use the origin loadout at all for BF4 I will only use the browser as it works best and is stable. So in truth you found your own fix :}  EDIT... My first post will / should keep your BF4 stable unless you have some issue on your PC and at this point it does not look like you do.

I just started having this problem today. Why is it that it happens in BF4 and not BF1? Please give me a good fix so that I can play through the Origin App.

It also happened to me, game was working fine for a month now but after i quit origin while in a game it started this bug. I can open the game, log in to server ,in respawning section i can only use my mouse but when i respawn i cannot use either mouse or keyboard...  Please give me a solution

I have the same problem since yesterday in BF4 and BF3. BF1 is working ok.i tried updating dx,vc, net framework, plug my controller and the opposite with and w/o it.But the problem remains.no control of keyboard and mouse in spawn screen when you join a server from browser OR origin. i use win 10.

I was having the same issue the past couple of days. I turned off the in game Origin and it worked for me. to do this go to Origin > application settings > more > Origin in-game > click enable origin in-game to disable.

I was doing all that stuff, this problem came about 2 days ago... but now the origin thinks is a new game, so the activation is necessary. Woah, wait a minute, now i need to activate the game with a new serial number again??? WTF Origin, i can't even play now. Instructions do not worked, 404 game not found.

it worked for me, but i feel like i need to use origin functionally. I hope origin do something about this bug

How do i launch my game with the browser? I'm having the same issue and i either get no mouse and keyboard functionality or i'll get a loading mouse icon that does nothing but load into eternity.

Thank you so much, this worked to solve my issue.  I actually quit playing bf4 for months because I couldn't get my keyboard and mouse to work.  Just follow the steps within Origin as described in this post and you are back in business!! 

Why Origin has not addressed the issue with its in-game overlay, I don't know???
