product key already registered Battlefield 1
Hi,
My son purchased Battlefield 1 (brand new) and unsuccessfully attempted to install it from the disc. He tells me that he then went and downloaded it online to his PC under a EA account that he has no details of. I am attempting to fix this mess for him and set him up a new EA account. Now when I go to register the game he purchased from disc it is telling me that the product key has already been used?? Is it possible he has already done something to stop me from now getting it set up for him? Is there a way to unlock it if this is the case? I apologize I am a complete novice and can use all the help you can give me. Thanks in advance. Chris.
@personalbus Hey, I think contacting support is the best way forward for this. The product key is one-use-only and it sounds like it's already associated with the old account.
Support can check the code and track down the details of the first account. They can then help to return control to your and your son, so you should be able to play once this gets sorted out.
