Hi @Matter-2-Splatta and welcome to Answers HQ!

The settings are saved in the folder:

C:\Users\YoutUserName\Documents\Battlefield 1\settings

if Origin / BF1 don't have access to write to files in this folder the settings will not be saved. This could be a permissions issue with your Windows user or perhaps you have a security application running that is blocking it. The easiest thing to do first is to make sure Origin and BF1.exe is always started as administrator.

    Cheers, I did have some kind of failure with sata cables or something this morning and windows isnt' letting me save where i want.

    So this explains it, many thanks
