@Lensman123zoom Unfortunately the campaign is what it is. It has been like that since launch of the game more than a year ago. Dice does roll out patches and DLC's and they might patch some obvious bugs and glitches to the campaign in the first few months of the game's life, but after that technical support for the single player will drop, let alone new content.
Battlefield is famous for it's multiplayer and the campaign usually got neglected. Ok it was there but it never has been the core of any Battlefield game. In my opinion the BF1campaign was the best in the series and I would love to see war stories being added with the DLC's but I knew this never would happen. Also if you look at the history of the Battlefield series you will see that has never been done.
Very few games will have single player content added after launch. As soon as a game is launched game developers will pay less and less attention to the offline component. Yes they will fix obvious bugs and fixes but after that all their attention is focussed on multiplayer as that is where the majortiy of the player base needs them, and of course they need to start developing their next title. So the dev team that worked on the BF1 campaign is now already working hard on the next main Battlefield title that is to be expected towards fall 2018.
