Re: Who really supports BF4 servers on PS4?

@Chronic1Thunder According to Battlelog you're on Playstation. EA directly supports console servers because they recently spun more up servers on console in order to meet increased demand when 2042's trailer debuted. Now PC servers are entirely third party and not supported by EA. The logos are there because EA made the game.

  • Hi Ragnar, not according to EA representative, I mentioned to him about the same statement as you just posted and this was his reply.

But before his final reply to me he even suggested to let my 4 and half year old server to expire and start up a new, yeah right, I got over 50K fans after 4 and half years of dedication and now he wants me to delete it so their work is much easier for them.

But they keep on renting them with no support, how can they do this?

Servers on console is run by EA. But unfortunately support dont have accesses to any tools to help out. @Chronic1Thunder

  • @EA_Atic, So servers on console are ran by EA, but support don't have access to any tools to help out with servers.

So why call it "support" when you don't support it?

Ea sells/rent them with no guarantees?

EA should post that on their server rental in fine print and make it clear to their customers that anything goes wrong with the server they are renting that they're on their own and not contact "support" because EA doesn't really support them they only rent them out.

    No?

    What's the big secret here?

Who can a customer that rents a server from EA, contact about server issues?

Or No matter how many times it crashes we on our own?

a couple of times the server froze for a straight week, no one could join the server for a week, we're on our own?
