Re: Does the color of a dog tag matter?

I believe they are a simple bronze, silver, gold type of idea. So as you rank up, rank your weapons up and have different difficultys of missions you will notice the change in colour to show your progression. This is just my theory of course. Hope this helps.

    Hey @kdesrochers26,

    I'll move your post to the Battlefield 1 forums. The color of a dog tag indeed does not matter. While for example Premium tags can be black gold, there are ones that are "harder to get" like the Easter Egg dog tags. There are two for now, one bronze and one silver. Compared to other ones you're bound to get sooner or later by just playing the game, they take some dedication and time put into them without getting any other progress in the game done.

    So it's a purely cosmetic thing really and up to your preference.
