For me a game reinstall didn't help, so I started to trying out a few things with my speakers and headphone. I connected my receiver to my PC through HDMI (nvidia rtx card) and the sound issue disappeared. Then I reconnected my headphones to the motherboards Realtek card and the issue came back immediately. So I remembered that I have a sound enhancement app called Nahimic installed through Windows 10 app store. I uninstalled it (restarted PC), and the issue disappeared.
So everyone who has this problem, try to search your PC, if you have some kind of audio software installed which can interfere with the game's sound engine and then try uninstall it. 😉
Thank you so much this was the fix we needed. For whatever reason Nahimic messed up the sound and once i turned it off it worked like a charm.
- Hi, @Marabou5 Your question is stuck in my mind so far that I have taken several tests to see whether I have this problem in a specific setting of sound. Unfortunately, I did not get a result to help you, but I am glad that you solved the problem and shared with us the solution
