- @Bluehydrax if someone got playing friends...
- Hori-Si-Tsun4 years agoSeasoned Traveler@Bluehydrax this would be true if they are not on origin, as origin friendslist is alot of times just not working, alot of times its even offline for some and online for others on a lan, then a few days later @ the next lan, some of the players that was offline last time are now online and viseverca, its completly random. You can still join same server ofc, but since u cant change teams its hard to make sure you get to play with eachother instead of against eachother

Steam for me too. Origin overlay causes too many crashes for me whereas steam overlay is a stable experience, for me. I may risk a stab at EA Desktop during the beta, but I won't be holding my breath. EGS is, well, EGS.
- @DJ_Englishman For what it's worth, i started messing around with the EA desktop beta when reinstalling BF3/4 again last week and it's a pretty decent step up from origin. (granted, that's not saying a whole lot as it generally needed two passes to install DLCs correctly. Desktop app did it first try)
I've generally had the same friends list issues as mentioned by others on origin, and the EA desktop client pulled my steam friends list and for the short time i dabbled, did actually correctly show who was online and offline (with people on mixed platforms), as well as common games people have installed.
That said, it's a beta and my test time is limited, so ymmv.
Going to be checking again later tonight most likely, will see if it holds up again.
