I have a few accounts, and my total playtime is probably around 3,000 hours or so in 2042, so I feel like I have a good grasp on the game lol.
Yesterday, I was shooting through a window at someone like 75-100 meters out. I angled myself to minimize my silhouette, stayed back from the window, so only a small portion of my character was showing. Soon as I landed one shot on this guy, they spun around and got me down to like 30hp. I barely got the kill. So stuff like that, no way that's legit. I've played against plenty of actual good players to know what's possible and what's just blatant cheating.
Besides reporting, we can also ask for better anti cheat. We can voice that on the forums, and then follow up with not buying the game, or micro transactions, until they do more about it. They have the means to do actually do something more about it if they were actually motivated enough. Gamers are pretty complacent though, so they'll just keep putting up with it. There's always enough people buying no matter what, which is depressing. However, you're starting to see a lot of review bombs lately, I think it's just misdirected hostility from years of frustration at this point. Not all titles deserve it, but triple A gaming has no soul left whatsoever at this point. Purely business. Talented devs doing the hard work, and then upper management steering the game towards greedy practices.
