Thank you for the links. Unfortunately they are not proving to be of assistance. The first link to the ea support thread only helps if you are setting up the account and want to link your psn account. I want to change the psn account that is linked to my ea account. When i try to contact ea help i get caught in a frustrating loop of of drop down lists that eventually dont offer an option that is relevant. I simply want to get in contact with ea for some technical support so that i can switch the linked psn account over... why have ea made it so hard to do this?
Community ManagerMoving your PlayStation ID from one EA account to another is not something a player can do from their end for account security reasons and technical limitations. Our staff may be able to do that for you, but all stats and progress will be lost when you transfer it to a new account. There is also a risk of technical issue going forward, so we really do not advise it unless for very specific circumstances.
Most players will request to "move" their PSN ID to another account, when all they really have to do is update the email address on the account to the one they desire.
