@Lightparadox963 Crossplay is only PC/PS5/Xbox Series X. PS4/Xbone cannot play with PC/PS4/Xbox Series X at all - just with one another even in Portal.

how about the other way around instead of ps4/xbox players playing with pc/xbox x players, pc/ps5/xbox x with ps4 and xbox server/lobbies?

@Lightparadox963 That is not possible due to hardware limitations of last gen consoles so last gen can only play with last gen on crossplay while current gen consoles and PC can all play together without last gen console with crossplay even if they want to join a server with player numbers that last gen could play. Essentially last gen are cordoned off together in a separate walled garden.
