Cross gen play with pc
Wondeing if BF portal will have crossgen play with ps4/xbox? if not then could you make it so pc players can join the smaller 64 player lobby's to play with last gen consoles?, so keep old gen consol...
Cross-play in general will be limited in BF2042, no matter what you play. If it's All out Warfare (multiplayer), Portal or Hazard Zone.
It's only New-gen consoles + PC, and Old-gen consoles are seperate.
If you have friends on New-gen consoles while you play on Old-gen, you can still play with each other if your friends play the Old-gen version on their New-gen console.
As BF2042 comes with a Cross-gen bundle, they can install both game versions on the New-gen console and therefore can choose what application they wanna start.
If they start the Old-gen one, they'll be limited to the 64 players too as it's about the game version you run and not about the console. 😉
