platform(s) question....

Will there be 1 version that we can buy that will allow us to play across all platforms?

I already know about:

     xbox one / ps4 version

     xbox x/s  / ps5 version

     xbox one / ps4 / x/s / ps5 version

     pc version

I'm just curious if there will be a version that you can buy that will let you play across all platforms.  Specifically, I have an xbox one and will be getting a series x, but I also have a pc.  It would be nice to have only 1 version that I can play on whatever device i have when I would like to.

    @Durwin Only what console you're on, so xbox 1 to xbox series x/s. and over to pc . or pc to xbox/ps what ever platforms you are on

    If a universal edition of BF2042 did exist it would be quite expensive because all the different stores would want a cut of the sales price.

    Xbox store would want their cut. Same with PlayStation store. Epic Games store and Steam store would also want their cut of the selling price.

    With some of these stores taking a 30% cut of the sales price, you can see how a universal copy would be super expensive after 3 or more stores take their cut of the sales price.
