Season Replay
I don't believe relegating 2042 to a maintenance mode is good for the franchise. In fact, by not making new content or updates and legit support, you're telling players (customers) that the content, features and support have a clock on them. The idea is newly release content after launch and the rewards of seasons and modes being unavailable when they end is to drive player numbers for fear of missing out. I get that. I would argue players deserve to play on their time after spending the same amount of money on a game someone with twice the time and frequency to play. Therefore, I feel its only right all who purchase the game, for full launch price or $7 (the price 2 weeks after my full purchase), have a right to earn the same rewards for the game as all the seasons we never got to play. I want the player cards, the skins, the tags and all the rest. When I bought the game my ISP was awful and online play was hardly an option. I could play solo/co-op with some issues but minimal compared to official servers and modes. Not only can we not claim any of the content others were able to receive under better circumstances or just time to actually play, but everything in the store is all the same price as it has always been which is a bit strange considering the value now without the seasons, without the promise of new content, without the game support, and without the player numbers or the cost of the game never going over 25% of the release price. I strongly feel if devs can give us FNB and weekend and weekly modes aside from the standards, a replay of all the seasons is warranted. 2042 still has a loyal base of players, many of which have played 6 and aren't fans. 6 feels like all our wants and desires were mostly ignored or the loudest and smallest group got what they wanted but that's another topic. How hard would it be to replay and cycle the seasons of 2042 for all the content be really? It can't hurt player numbers in 6, in fact it only helps. Not in real time as the seasons but in player enthusiasm towards the franchise. I cannot purchase or play BF6 knowing the game will eventually go to maintenance mode and have little to no support or new content. Using 2042 as a platform to test enthusiasm would be one of the smartest moves EA/Dice could make after restructuring of its teams. Lets start BF2042 season 1 before May please.EA banned me for nothing, ignored me for more than a month, closed my case
I’m honestly done with EA after this. I got banned from Battlefield 2042 for absolutely no reason. No cheats, no software, nothing. I literally left the game open in the lobby, went away, came back — banned. So I opened an appeal the next day. EA says they reply within 24–48 hours. Reality? More than ONE MONTH. I waited over a month for a response. And what did I get after all that waiting? No explanation No proof No details Just a generic copy-paste message And then they closed the case. Now here’s the worst part: Today is March 29 — and I STILL have no real answer. The case is closed, and no one has explained anything. Timeline: Feb 19 — banned Feb 20 — appeal opened March 18 — useless generic reply after MORE THAN A MONTH March 29 — still nothing, case closed So basically: Ban a legit player Ignore him for more than a month Send a useless reply Close the case Refuse to explain anything How is this acceptable? If your anti-cheat actually works, show proof. If you made a mistake, fix it. But this? This just looks like a broken system and support that doesn’t care. I don’t even care about the game anymore at this point. I just want people to see how bad this experience was. Anyone else had something like this happen with EA? [CM - Edit for formatting]People are using the switch team feature to stack and stomp games (LTM)
Stackers have been a big problem for ages but this make people that are acutally not playing together change teams to avoid facing eachother to have a fair game. I cant show a screenshot because, well, moderators stacks up to 7 "experienced" players against an organic "Whoever joins" team, the result is games that last no more than 5 minutes, i know you dont care about this kind of stuff, but someone had to expose this. “Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe.” ― Albert Einstein [Edit: Text size reduced in one section - ElliotLH]SolvedJust stop
We don't care about Control, Frontlines or even Rush though its the most tolerable. Just stop with the weekend, weekly or FNB modes nobody gives a **bleep** about. Breakthrough and Conquest (though I hate). That's it. Stop taking players from useless modes away from the ones we play and making it impossible in some regions to even get a match started with minimum players by dispersing what we have even more. Don't even get me started on matchmaking and splitting regions into multiple quarter filled servers instead of fewer fuller ones. That's all. Needed to vent. Thumbs up or like or whatever so EA pays a tiny bit of attention. No wonder they're "restructuring".You Come Here Often ?
Hello you filthy animals. starting to see the same bunch of killers on my tours of 2042. still think 2042 has got the best platform for carnage potential, and ill slide into my warchief way before i **bleep** a load up for bf6 arcade fest. anyway.. just a post for fellow diehards to state their call sign and usual l server . maybe ill link up in game for some wholesome gang **bleep**. sorry if my cockpit smells of weed. D3LBOYOBreakthrough Chaos... Was good. Latest adaptation, No.
First let me say I can play well with whatever circumstances there are to deal with but I play with a lot of people who party with me for the assists I make with my squad and team. I play 96% breakthrough and make moderate kills, go suicidal to revive my squad and place t-ugs, insertion beacon and spawn beacons down as often as possible where most crucial as a Recon so my team can use the minimap. I play point guard and don't need a triple double to be happy, just assists. Breakthrough chaos has been awesome in the past with faster move speeds, some occasionally vehicle allowances per map, faster respawn times and so on. This newest adaptation however nerfs recon specialists massively. No proxy sensors, no T-ugs. Recon is left with spotting actively with Casper drone and Paik also active emg scanner which is minimal and puts Paik on the enemies minimap. Blasco's insertion beacon can be used but is paired well with a t-ugs in near vicinity for passive assists when kills are made by team within the disruption area. Every class has a clear and obvious ability that used right benefits the entire team, not just squad or themselves (talking to you medics who sniper with ammo packs all for yourself). Recon, aside from the sniper stability which is easily worked around by binding breath with aim down sight, is effective by providing the team with a populated minimap and has sensors specifically for this. I don't care for kills, or at least having the most. I are about supporting my usual party members or making things better for newer/non friend players while i play point guard and spot the map and drop spawn beacons where most effective while i get some kills and revives along the way. I cannot do this nearly as effectively especially at such fast paced movement and action while most still have all their abilities/gadgets. I can adapt if this was a permanent change but I see no reason why those who play a true recon has to be so limited while Rams zoom around blowing up half the sector before most can even respawn or even know what happened. If you're gonna nerf spotting gadgets and expect teams to play balanced on some maps with limited vehicle choices as defenders/attackers in first sector of maps, maybe eliminate vehicles as well. Or eliminate explosives or rockets for assault and limit to engineer. Do something more balanced. EA, Dice, Whoever, please take everything into account when a modified mode is made. I currently cant play a normal breakthrough where I am best assisting the team because everyone is on chaos who are perfectly happy as sniping medics and crawfords miniguns everywhere and 10 dozen Sundances and her stupid scatter grenades which if anything needs to be nerfed as all hell in the game.BF2042 Summary
BF2042 will go down as my least favorite Battlefield game. Despite that, I still had fun with it. The maps were cool and interesting (climate change theme, ship demolition, rockets...) but they lacked the war ambiance. Having Conquest/Rush of Ages in Portal was an awesome revisit to past games. Unlike BF1 and BFV, this one will be permanently uninstalled from my console. Good bye BF2042 and hello BF6!
