Threads merged as they sounded like the same issue.

EA Anticheat Team
@Firelance50 Looks like you were running into a DRM error unrelated to EA anticheat. Are you still having an issue?
If so, go to C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License and delete all of the.dlf files here, close the EA app, restart it, and try again.
You will need to enable to view hidden files and folders in Windows to go to the ProgramData folder. It is hidden by Windows by default.Edit: This also applies to you too, @ProfessorBoreas.
- @AntiCheatWard sorry but that didn't fix it, thanks

So, since I see quite a lot of posts regarding this issue, I myself don't have it, my recommandation would be to uninstall bf 1 and reinstall it.
Before BF 2042 and V got the EAAC, I uninstalled each game and downloaded the game again after the anticheat got added, so I could have the ''new version''.
I did the same on Monday with BF 1 and haven't had any issues. I only own the game on EA App. Steam might also be the culprit here.
That doesn't work. I uninstalled BF1 including anticheat, reinstalled, anticheat then reinstalled, same issue. Also did the whole thing again, uninstalling Origin as well, same issue. The problem is that the EAanticheat service that is installed as part of this fails to start properly. If you look at it as the game is loading, it goes from Stopped - Starting - Stopping and stays in the Stopping state from that point forward. Eventually the BF1/Anticheat splash screen shows that the service failed to start and the Windows logs shows an invalid parameter and a failure code of 87.
I have also tried the deletion of the cryptbase.dll file. That file does not exist in the game folder for me so no luck there either.
Done as you asked, no effect, splash screen comes up, progress bar fills up from zero to solid after 2 seconds then quits (other BF games the progress bar makes steady progress then boots into game without issue).
I've tried every other suggestion on the topic so far with no result.
@neoforo87i tried to reinstall the game but i still have the problem i open the game (i own it on steam) i get the anti cheat splashscreen but it closes after 30 seconds with no error and it just returns to steam, bfv works with the anticheat (i have both on steam)
ps. im using win 11 24H2- @98thCommandment same thing happening to me, if i try to start the service manually i get the same error code 87
hi. i tried all these:
1. i have no crypt.dll - so i cant delete it
2. delete all .dlf file making it worse. i just get 1 more error (0xc000005)
3. EAAntiCheat.GameServiceLauncher.exe > Properties > Compatibility. Look for Compatibility mode and set it to Windows 7
Nothing helped
whats next?

What a noble ambition to have wanted to eradicate these cheaters harmful to the gaming experience of others but you have also without any other form of process eradicated the honest players who were playing under Windows 7 and who respected the conditions laid down by EA. It is not enough to only advise changing Windows because quite often, as for me, I also had to change the processor and therefore the motherboard and memory, an investment of 1000 dollars.

So I invested in a 9800x3d an msi carbon and 2 mwe and windows 11 for a long term solution concerning my 2080 more than sufficient to play in battelfield but that is not the subject. With this solution and a new installation I was able to access Battelfield of which I was deprived by the king and I noticed a lot of latency. Here is what I did at random but everything fit into the order. Updated the bios, updated the graphics driver using the techpowerup utility which removed a lot of unnecessary things and I replaced defender with Kapersky. Since then I haven't had any more problems. The height of all this having some experience of this game is that the cheaters are always there and the honest people are punished. It is obvious that my investment will be deducted from that of EA. It's consistent with this pitiful world of finance
Just to update my experience I have now fixed this issue.
If you have Asus Gamefirst VI installed it is imperative that you exit the app or BF1 will not load, other Battlefields are unaffected but for whatever reason BF1 refuses to budge while this app is running.
Found another app it hates too, in Synapse 4 from Razer i've narrowed down the bad process to either the game manager service exe and the Razer Elevation service exe. Game dies if those are running, BUT will run fine even though the rest of razer is still active.
Oh nevermind, turns out it was actually WINDHAWK, which is strange because it doesn't touch anything other than windows files
