I'm now trying to udate my windows and reinstall EA with BF1.

Thats * tbh, spent almost two days for it.

Does AC worth all these negative consequences for normal players?

I saw claims in some stream that still there are some cheaters killing oneshot etc even with AC.

Disable or Close All the apps that are running in the background. Right Click on each one and a Menu should come up. "Exit" is usually the option - I added the Red X's - You will not see that. Just showing all the ones I closed.

Disable/Close and then try and Run Battlefield One.

@Laretti999 Cheaters will always find a way to bypass every Anticheat method. It will be no different for BF1

Right now there are not as many people online as before the patch. It may take a few days for users to try all the fixes and the numbers of players go back up. Cheaters are inevitable

On one PC GameFirst VI and Malwarebytes had to be exited.  Relaunching EA ui and BF1 would launch without issues.

I'm sure every PC will have a different set of background apps that trip the anticheat software

  • Confirmed for me too, I quit Malwarebytes and Asus Gamerfirst and BF1 launched no problem, it seems anticheat hates both these apps but only when running BF1, my other Battlefield games are not affected by them. 🙂

  • @FraziePup okay, so i just mentioned i tried everything then reinstalled & move install drive and it wasn't working, so i tried disabling ASUS Gamefirst VI again and yes it's just booted. thx
  • ^^^^^^^ THIS

i was individually closing each program that ran in the background, then started up bf1. gamefirst was the problem.

    Thanks.

  • @Ombaba68 GameFirst is an ASUS utility that helps with Network connections - Battlefield 1's anti-cheat update doesn't like it. Game will not launch with it running.
