Re: security violation (115) error

Hello @Xedze12,

It sounds like you're encountering a security violation error while trying to play your game on Steam. Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

  1. Verify Game Files: In Steam, right-click the game in your library, select "Properties," go to the "Local Files" tab, and click "Verify Integrity of Game Files." This will check for any corrupted files and fix them.

  2. Run as Administrator: Right-click on both the Steam and EA applications and select "Run as administrator." This can help with permission issues.

  3. Disable Overlays: Sometimes overlays from other programs can cause conflicts. Try disabling the Steam overlay and any other overlays from programs like Discord or GeForce Experience.

  4. Update Drivers: Make sure your graphics card drivers and other system drivers are up to date. Visit the manufacturer’s website for the latest versions.

  5. Check Security Software: Your antivirus or firewall might be blocking the game. Try temporarily disabling them to see if it resolves the issue, but remember to enable them afterward.

  6. Reinstall the Game: If none of the above works, consider uninstalling and reinstalling the game to ensure a fresh installation.

If you continue to experience the issue after trying these steps, you may want to reach out to EA Support for further assistance.

Best regards,

danisoff

no, I already validated drivers, updated windows, closed all processes except EA, searched and did not have the CryptBase.dll file and the same error continues to appear, I have nothing and it still does not let me even start the campaign, I play with an rx580 and before the patch had tested the game without problems

Hi @Xedze12 Do you have any software like DS4Windows or similar running? Going on the message you're seeing, it does imply that the anti-cheat has found something it doesn't like.

No, I checked and generated a clean boot. I don't have any program like DS4windows. I deactivated all the startup files except EA and it still gives the same error 115.
