    @UP_SunnyTheWolf  Well if past players had not played and loved the game, it would not exist today.  Respecting the past by re-releasing old maps is just that.  Further, many people would argue that the past Battlefield games (read: before BF1) were the pinnacle of the franchise.

    I have seen several new things coming for this game as well, so I am not sure what exactly you are referring to.

  • @carsono311I've been playing since BF1942 and I'd be more than fine with them skipping Wake Island with this release.

    I mean, if we are bringing back maps out of nostalgia's or respect's sake then I'd rather see maps like El Alamein or Gazala.

    I will say that, personally, Wake Island is not my favorite map either...  Still nice to see some maps re-imagined though.  I would be willing to bet will have a Metro / Lockers remake along the way.

    You do realize that El Alamein is one of the few maps that they DID port, right?
