Re: Is early access also shared when doing console sharing?

Looking to preorder this game on PS5 and I am interested to know if my other console which I currently do console sharing with, will also have access to the early access. Or will only the main account have the early access privilege? Anyone has any experience with this? Thank you
Hi @GreasyMcNugget ,
Great questions!
Now as none of us have the factual game installed on our consoles just yet, my answer here is based on the recent announcements on this from EA and it sounds very positive also with regards to exactly that gaming setup and scenario you ask about here for your own situation. (much like my own actually :o).
So its all to do with the handling of our user license, which also controls our soldier game progression and purchases. As these will indeed in the BF2042 environment be enabled to be fully fluid and synched no matter what platform or console that we play on, when and where!
So our progress and 'game properties' will be shared across all platforms/consoles and travel with us wherever we go. So our unlocked progress and purchases on aka our PlayStation 5 will also carry over onto aka our Xbox or PlayStation 4, if we do some gaming there. And vice versa back again if returning to the PlayStation 5 from there!
I really like everything I heard here, as it gives us total freedom to go wherever we want with our gaming on BF2042. And also fully enable to join/play with friends at their locations when visiting them, no matter the platform they may be on versus what you have at home. And yes, for the privileged, we can have the single BF2042 license enabling the game for us on the various PlayStations that you may have standing around at various locations. (but yes, you can only be active at one of them at a time. Just as you know well from your PlayStation environment, which only allows one to be the master account)
Exciting good times ahead for us! :o)
