What will EA HAVE to include in the next Battlefield game for you to trust them again and for you to even contemplate buying it? For example if they say it will have a server browser but bring back specialists? Will you buy it? What is the minimum they will need to include for you to buy the game?
All I would like is for EA-DICE to remember to build a game for gamers, the regular guys and girls, not Content Creators who have a distorted viewpoint on what's needed for a game. They all have agendas and unfortunately, they are listened to, too often, because they need content, to keep them in a job.
Playing Conquest of Ages yesterday was a joy; slower paced, simpler mechanics, more focussed on positioning and tactical ability, slower TTK, 64 players generally PTFO'ing, with much better maps.
If they focus on the basic BF sandbox experience and remember that sometimes less is more, they could provide what we need and want.
A server browser would be nice, other than that it would have to be a fun sand box type game. with clear objectives and no more flying squirrels.

A few things, actually.
1) A Finished game
2) Stop poncing around with weapons, vehicles etc. This will be their SIXTH game, I would have hoped they know what they are doing by now?
3) Remove silly things like wing suits and the stupid bunny hopping ability, it's borderline re*arded and just looks pathetic
4) Bring back "Proper" Levolution or Destruction, whatever you want to call it, just bring it back. (The ability to bring a building down on campers was very rewarding.)
5) Award extra points for PTFING the objective. Other games do.
6) STOP the equally silly limiting XP for playing anything Portal related, this has really, and I mean really whizzed me off in BF2042
7) They had better release more, and I mean seriously more maps in the next game, this map count should be a gaming industry example of not what to do with regard to content.
8) Add a Hard Core game mode right out of the box, enough with doritos trying to flank you.
9) A server browser is a must.
10) Lastly, remove the ill-thought out scope glint with sunlight brightness effect of the scope. I used to seriously enjoy hunting down campers, I mean Snipers, and raining down mortars on them. Now that was very satisfying.
Pretty sure I could go on for a while, and I'm sure others will have a list too, but these are things I would like.
On a side note, I loved BFBC2 with the Vietnam expansion. Now you just have challenged children bunny hopping all over the place bullet spraying everywhere, and it's beyond boring.
I have said it before, and I'll say it again, I have no idea how some people have upwards of 2000 hours on this rubbish, they deserve a medal. About half an hour at a time is all I can take now.
I am ordering Hell Let Lose and also Arma Reforger to keep me going, I notice that their player numbers are going pretty damn high, and I may very well just uninstall BF2042 completely.
Never, Ive done my last purchase was this game. No more $$ for EA coming out of my wallet.
Same goes for Cod franchise, since what happen to Warzone.
Make a new game based on Bad Company 2 style and mechanics, 32 players max, team and enemy team chat, and with a true Hardcore Conquest mode.
I've not really enjoyed any BF title since BC2. It went too CoD, casual, hand-holding, frag-festy, and over-the-top visually chaotic and loud for my tastes. Sniper scope lens flare beacons of light, too? No thanks
