Thanks @timfor. When you select Play from the in-game menu, do you see the War Stories option, like in my screenshot below?

I'm in the same boat and cannot see the spot you mentioned "war stories", any help would be appreciated. I'm unable to access single player campaign mode and see only to be able to do 'weekly missions"
When I click on weekly mission, theres nothing there except a graph with locked levels to work up/through but nothing else.

To give you an answer though, and assuming my memory of thr menu is right, it should be the tile that's towards the bottom right of the screen after you select the "Play" option.
