Re: Recoil is a little much

@RaginSam I saw today on one of the bigger youtuber's vids that Assault Rifles have unintentionally high spread at range so that may be what you're experiencing.

@ragnarok013 High spread definitely not helping in some situations either. That's interesting to hear it's not intentional. Hopefully we get some official feedback soon.

It's the AK-24. The recoil on that makes the gun basically useless to me. The M5A3 is way easier to use. All the guns are easier to use. I don't understand if someone is using low sens like me and being able to control that recoil. I have to very aggressively drag my arm down a lot! It just doesn't feel good to use.

I don't care about realism. I'm aiming with a mouse after all. I get balancing guns, but I think AK-24 needs some tuning.
  • @RaginSam It's not just you *or* the AK, though i got some more mileage out of the AK after getting the tactical brake and grip that doesn't punish you for being on the move.

Making the recoil more directly vertical via attachments (on all the ARs) makes it much easier to manage both sustained bursts and clipped burst and distance.
Of course, you get one that's hard to use and those attachments come in much slower, making it feel like a bigger pita.

I'm currently messing around with the scar/underslung which i like (and starts with heavy ammo) though one of the earlier unlocks is "normal" ammo which.. reduces recoil and damage and makes it feel like a more sluggish M5 just with an underslung.
