Tested this and made a post on the day S2 launched. Others had similar issues, but there was no official response.

It is worse than last season. Complete a match in Portal and see if that helps. You may have to then go play AOW again for it to pop in. I lost 48 tokens last season and I am missing over 100 already. I still can't believe they can't get simple tracking done correctly.
Yes. Its significantly worse in Season 2. At higher tiers this is going to become damn near impossible to achieve if the discrepancy continues. Every 10 BP points increases the XP requirement by 500XP. This continues even after you complete 100 tiers.
