The clean boot did not work. I still cannot join on friends at all, and it still shows that I have no friend despite clearly having some. It is clearly an issue with the EA App itself and its, quite frankly, abysmal performance. Any other ideas for how to fix this?

I have had this issue for a solid three weeks now. Even though on the EA App it shows I have friends online and playing 2042, when I open up the game it shows I have no friends online. Friends cannot invite me even if they see me online. @EA_Atic did respond to my other post, asking me to to a clean boot. I did a clean boot, and it did nothing. I got no response after the suggestion, so have been unsure for two weeks what to do.

having the same problem after i forced to upgrade to EA App 
no friends in all games not only bf 2042 also in bf v and apex 
there is no way to contact them 
and i think they don't care about us 

Same issue here in ea app, no people online.

Thats why i did rollback to Origin.

In Origin i see poeple online.

I already cleared cache in ea app, did reset my netowrk hardware and software (command prompt).
Reinstalled ea app , no luck.

For now no issues with Origin (rollback)
