First thing I would try is running the anticheat installer again.

I've tried that did not work I've repaired the EA did not work I've fresh downloaded it again nothing. I've redownloaded the game nothing I refunded it from steam to see if it was a steam issues was not. My pc is in safe mode 

Tried a proper clean boot and not just running in safe mode?

Just done it and still getting the same thing

Do you have Windows 11 and if so do can you post a screenshot showing if secure boot is enabled?

Try scanning the disk of your OS and game using the Windows errorchecking tool. Also, as mentioned in the first link, a dxdiag file would be appreciated.

I'm on Win 11 and Secure Boot State in On.. no screenshot because it's Korean...

The presense of corrupt files could indicate a file system issue. In this case I would:

1. Run the error checking too until it reports no errors
2. Run "sfc /scannow" until it reports no errors
3. Run "dism online cleanup-image restorehealth"
4. Reinstall graphics drivers after having cleanly removed them using DDU in safe mode
5. Repair EA App and try playing
6. if (5) doesn't work:
7. Uninstall game and EA App
8. Reinstall EA App

I looked into the files they were Bluetooth files so it cant be that

4. uninstall & reinstall BF2042 and EA App

Still same. Error 116. nothing different.

I tested it on my brothers pc and it worked fine so tonight im going to fully reset my pc and see if that fixes it 

I did a fresh install on my pc and it fixed it 

Facing same issue ..sadly resetting pc is not option for me. 

Hopefully someone figures it out. 
I have tried almost all the options given on other threads of 116 error still no luck.

Stop wasting your time on trying to locate the problem on the user's side, because I'm pretty sure it's a Battlefield/EA issue. The suggestions given here make no sense at all.

I have already tried dism++ solution but still it wont work.

Surprising for me is this happen on my newly bought laptop.

It's Day 5, error 116, no difference. frustrated

Same here! its really sad!

At this point I don't even think they will try to fix it given that only minority of people are facing this issue.
