    Your head, apparently.

It's precisely the point. You are grossly over-complicating what is necessary to shoot down a stealth helicopter to justify an easy no-skill solution like locking through flares. This is all while none of the people here can pilot at all. You try flying a any helicopter with hacks, stingers, TV missiles, the other helicopter and transports coming after you. Literally the only way someone gets over 100 kills is if the other team does absolutely NOTHING to stop them.

Also looking at the screenshots again. The pilots are the same people. Maybe they're just that good? Given the small player base that the game has, you're going to go against the same people pretty often. It's like screaming about a gun being OP because idk... Shroud killed you over and over.

I'm not. Legit spent an entire breakthrough match trying to actually damage a hind the attackers had on Kaleidoscope. SOFLAM, stingers, Rao, tried setting up plays. Literally pointless. Last 2 C buildings to capture? Hind just did a loop around the two and was able to quickly break all locks while being able to move vertically to avoid M5's and anything else. No chance of killing it from the ground, just harassing and massacring us all match without ever being killed.

My discussion of the SOFLAM lock was hypothetical, not a change I'm seriously arguing for in the current system.

TV missiles? You mean Liz? Lol, honestly with the missile leaving her 100% vulnerable (love shooting me some Liz's just standing there controlling missiles) and remaining easy to dodge I'm increasingly convinced that you're just a very mediocre pilot and are enjoying feeling like a good pilot for once.

I do enjoy watching learner pilots feeling like gods for the first time trying to argue that this is balanced because they're still killed sometimes, not realizing that if it's this easy for them then imagine how easy it is for actually good pilots.

Real though, gunning in a lot of matches is boring because you're literally just farming infantry with no real risk of dying. Stinger locks on you aren't a threat. SOFLAM locks aren't a threat. Liz is barely a threat. Rao is an annoyance more than anything. Only thing you meaningfully have to look out for as a threat is other aircraft, and if you're playing BT on attack those don't come into play until the C zone when the attackers already have momentum anyways. Just need a decent pilot and attackers are gravey.

Then go and try it out. Try to get a 50 kill game.

As a pilot? I suck, I can't and I make no attempts. As a gunner? Yeah, I've done that with decent pilots. It's easy since you don't have to worry much about being shot down.

And she is lit up like a Christmas tree on all radars while the missile is in the air.

Dont forget that the missiles do 50 damage or less, are slower then ALL vehicles they target, have zero agility to adjust to a hard banking heli/condor, and the cooldown between 2nd and third missile is so long, the target, if not hit, regenerates all the health back

Anybody who uses Lis as some sort of balance to air is just a bad pilot

Pretty much. She can be annoying, and with enough of her missiles flying around there's a decent chance some will actually hit a pilot that remembers they can just evade or fly quickly. But she's hardly a counter, and IMO as the season has progressed and there are fewer people playing her because she's new, and pilots have a better idea of how to avoid her rockets, her role as the "anti-vehicle" specialist of sorts is pretty lackluster. The spots on damaged vehicles are nice and all, and borderline OP honestly, but her actual missiles leave much, much, much to be desired compared to the M5/Stinger, even.

Hell, you're better off using her against ground vehicles - which is fine since that's also part of her role - or even infantry than you are against aircraft.

  • @edgecrusherO0 The rockets are good to target snipers. The only time I target Air is when they are hovering behind a building, in a gully or something. Otherwise, I dont waste a rocket on them.

She SHOULD had been the chosen one.

But her missiles are somehow less agile that the aircraft they target who are more agile in spite of being bigger.

They "balanced" her so much before releasing her that she is not good enough for aircraft

@Man_iLoveFishing Lmao, they are not slower than all vehicles. Obviously you don't play vehicles.

Should I say, all armor vehicles.  The electric vehicles are slower.

I think "balanced" has a different definition for DICE.   They must interpret it as useless.

It must help that you have endless ammo, endless fuel, can fly out of bounds where others cannot get you, have Borg Regeneration.

100-0 is not skill.  You should have that with the little risk you expose yourself too.   At best, we can chase you off the field for 15 seconds until you return because you're so worried about your k/d ratio.

    I've got a few helo t1s.

Gee wilikers, that must have been difficult.  🙌

The team your fighting against let this happen.

Wrong.  It isnt a team, it is 32 to 64 individuals making decisions without knowing what others are doing.   Nobody knows who is healing, carrying more ammo, carrying rockets, drones, SOFLAMs, C5 etc.

No one bothered to run AA, no one bothered to play Rao and hack stealths, no one did anything but pad this guys stats. It's not his fault, its yours.

the AA is buggy as hell.   You just fly behind a building and you get away.   Rao has a range, fly above it.   Lis rockets are ranged, slow, and have no agility, along with the fact that half the time, people see her lit up and kill her.  Hardly a high level of risk for Air.

This guy "pads his stats" and makes excuses and blames others for his EZMode.  Its like taking candy from a child and blaming the child for not learning how to fight.

If I'm in the stealth, I play with the guns, then someone starts using the AA consistently, and I play in steath, then they start playing rao and using AA and it get to the point where you're getting a handful of kills and running to break LOS. This isn't highlighting helos are overpowered it's highlighting your team sucks and deserved to get farmed.

This is where you're incorrect.   This is highlighting that Helos are overpowered.  You're just deflecting so you can keep farming, and believing we deserve it.   If Helos were required to stay in the play area, didn't have a regeneration, AA rockets worked as intended, Lis rockets were effective, you had limited fuel, and ammo like those you farm, then it might be the "teams" fault.  Acting like the players joining are some sort of coordinated effort and blaming them for not making the choices is obtuse.   You choose to play helo's because you want to farm with little risk.  You choose the helos because you know the imbalance and you exploit it to "pad your stats". Your post wreaks of it.

Yes... the ultimate fate of stuff "balanced" by DICE is uselessness. I still remember what they did to the FAMAS in BF3
