Re: [RESOLVED] EA Friends Not Working In BF2042 Since May 27 Update

Since the latest update, the friends list is totally useless. I can no longer join someone on my friend list. I  have been playing this game since pre-release and have always been able to join a friend, and see whether they were playing and where. Why in the world would EA change this after 4 years. They are discouraging people from playing with people they have played with for years. This is really stupid! This change is going to tank this game, if it hasn't already. Battlefield has always been a group effort amongst friends, to take that away ruins the game. The player base has already diminished to very low levels, they just made it worse. I don't know if they did it as an experiment for BF 6 or what, but I hope they change it back to the way it was. I think the secure boot was a good idea, as it should help with the hacking/cheating, but to take away the friend list functionality was a mistake. If the game would have had a server browser (like it should have) at least friends could have joined each other that way. EA...please restore the Friends List to the way it was! On a side note: I noticed this change did not apply to console players, this hardly seems fair.
