how hard would it be to just roll back the update so we could at least play the game then release a new update when the problem is sorted, bloody joke that we are still here waiting a week later.
I played last night. It did the whole * it does.
Maxed out my memory, * started beeping and it went back down. But then it fixed itself...sorta . About the third cycle it quit locking up and stuttering, back to smooth gameplay. Mind you it was 80 percent of 64GB still in use, but I could actually play the game. Played 5 more rounds that way.
For the techs:
I did notice I had a windows update around the same time this mess started. Nothing else changed besides the May 10th update on 2042 but this seems to have effected every EA game. I'm also on windows 11.
Edit:
Played again last night and same thing happened. After it maxed out 3 or 4 times it settled again at 80 percent. I'll post screen grabs later today.

Same issues as other posters RAM maxing out 99%+ huge FPS drops, game hanging on exit due to EA AC, etc...
- @ExiledWeegie I would imagine that we can't really do that if the game looks for a specific version of the anti-cheat or something like that. I tried repairing the anti-cheat files but to no avail.
we couldnt roll it back but EA could, they could just release the previous version as an update and then work on the problem, at least it would allow us all to use what we paid for.
@ExiledWeegie or just go back to Easy anti-cheat or punkbuster and keep EA anticheat more in house until it tested with all different kinda of hardware and software installed i paid 20 bucks for battlepass only played about 2 hours of it because of the BSOD for asus software and now this memory issues
I really wish they would fix it before the weekend. At least roll back to the old version until they get the new one working.
