Re: New Spearhead map.....what's your verdict. ?

@Ga-Knomboe_Boy
Yes I agree there are hints of BF1 there, and yes it probably is the best looking map so far. 👍

I just had my best experiences in breakthrough in Battlefield right now.

    Good job!

I like it, I would put it on par with Exposure. Good map.

Yes me too, just enjoyed a few more Conquest rounds both pretty closely matched.

I find the graphics pretty stunning, and I think they deserve credit for the amount of work they have put into Spearhead, it is streets ahead of some of the original AOW maps.

Liking it more each time I play it. 👍

Feels more a 'Battlefield' than the previous attempts, still one map every 3 1/2 months won't be enough to keep the playerbase imo

Yes I agree there is more of a Battlefield feel to Spearhead and I also prefer it to Stranded.

Graphically the map is amazing.  Only concern is I've never seen so many players camping prone inside bushes and around every corner on any BF 2042 map...

    -Extremely linear.

-Channels players into pre made kill zones. no brain, no pain.

-Wreaks of Rush level design. the narrow corridor with little to ZERO room to flank
-One side being Spawn camped will certainly be the norm.
-out of bounds areas are literally a few feet away from

some objectives. Back into the kill zone plebs!! No flanking for you!!
-“Like shooting fish in a barrel” objective design. outdoor  objective areas aren’t sectioned off from other areas of the map which results in extreme long distance lines of sight into those objective areas from every conceivable direction.
The result is players that PTFO being slaughtered from 7000 different angles by players and vehicles nowhere near the objective. Extremely frustrating and just poor level design.

-such a small, narrow  map yet the same number of vehicles as we see on the largest maps. Did none of the Devs play a previous BF title? Just because you can cram every vehicle in game into every map, that doesn’t mean you need to cram every single vehicle in game into every single map.
