Hello everyone,

I wanted to give you a quick update regarding some recent changes to the threads. I have merged a few threads together that were discussing the same topic to keep everything organized.

I've noticed there's some confusion about the Season 5 Premium Battle Pass variant and its inclusion in the Battlefield 2042 Gold and/or Ultimate Edition, as well as EA Play Pro and the Year 1 Pass.

Let me clarify that the Season 5 Premium Battle Pass variant is not included in the Battlefield 2042 Gold and/or Ultimate Edition or the Year 1 Pass. These editions only grant you access to the Premium Battle Pass rewards*** for Seasons 1 to 4. If you're interested in the Premium variant of the Season 5 Battle Pass or anything beyond Seasons 1 to 4, you'll need to purchase it separately.

    Clears up the fact that we were tricked . . . . yes legal I guess but still. Basically the game is over or dead. Ill read the fine print on EA's next game and be sure if this * is pulled then yea ill pass. Def not buying any ultimate editions. I don't even need the stuff but these days they make you buy the game and then the missions. like without these goals and rewards wtf are we playing for. back in the day i played to unlock a weapon...now you cant earn * without paying an extra $20. in this economy and with the battles between gaming companies, should have just left it be. Board members do not play games kids do. Also most kids do not earn this kinda money. I think this may be where my 18 years with battlefield ends.

    the free spots are like a slap in the face.

    @Radeint No weapons or vehicles are behind a paywall in a season pass for the life of this game. The only things earned with premium are other skins/boins/xp boosts (I assume).

    Probably because a key feature of the Ultimate edition was a year of the premium battlepass, which was seasons 1 through 4, which are long gone.
