Serial key already in use

hi, i bought the complet edition of command and conquer, and i have installed C&C 3 and kanes wrath, i want to play network with my son who also bought it on his origin account, but when i try to join his network game or if he tries to join mine, it says "join failed, serial key already in use" and we have completly different keys.
