Red Alert 2 and 3 Remastered
Hey guys. Hope someone sees this. I just wanted to say I love the Red Alert Franchise and would love to see it brought back to life. As long as I can remember it was unavailable for online play. I couldn't play campaign with friends or pvp with friends. The only time I had a chance is though lan and it was tons of fun. My favorite Red Alert is the second one. I have never even played the first red alert so it is not likely I will buy and play it. However I'm really hoping for Red Alert 2 remastered. Or at least servers brought back to life. I have bought most CnC and not going to lie, if you get servers up I will pay again and bring 4 of my friends with me. They as well love the game. I have The C&C Ultimate Collection and play Red Alert with Counterstrike and Aftermath virtually every day. It has worked ok since I first paid and installed it. For the last few days, when I start Red Alert from the EA App it start loading and then I get a blank screen and the PC hangs. I have to cntl/alt/del to get to Task Manager and cancel ra95.dat to get control of my PC back. It may or may not be related to the latest Windows update which was a big one. I contacted EA support chat and he suggested clearing the cache via the Start Menu, EA, App Recovery but that did not solve the problem. He suggested reverting Windows back, but this version does not allow it and a) trying could screw up my entire PC b) the problem may not be related to the Windows update anyway (talk about a hammer to crack a nut). He then told me to uninstall Red Alert and re-install it in the EA App. So, ok, I uninstalled it from the three dots in the Library (I had already tried repair and that did not work). But then there is no icon for Red Alert to re-install it. I have lost the game completely and the key that was registered to my original download!! He literally then said he couldn't help me and ended the conversation having made me uninstall the game completely. I can't even keep trying in the hope it might work as it is no longer on my PC. Incredible! EA can see I have paid and downloaded C&C Ultimate Collection already. Why can't they give me a key to download it all again or at least download Red Alert. Hi there, Daily Rivals player here using iPad Pro. Not sure why but I have been facing with Lag and Poor Network Issue starting Early March 2020. Game is just unplayable. Thinking it was my line or server issue, but doesn't seem like it is. Other programs are running smoothly except for Rivals. Any fix on this? Thanks. I want to copy my C&C RA Remastered saved games from my steam account to my EA account; anybody know what type of file, & where I should be copying it to? My steam version quit working after about a year (failed to start/crashed when I tried to play it). I tried a variety of work-arounds to no avail. In exasperation, I bought a copy from EA for $4.99 - which also failed to work until I disabled the EA game overlay, & entered REDALERT into the properties of the start-up file (I think - or something like that). Anyway, the game works in the EA account & I want to copy my saved games over to finish...the last 2 missions of the allied campaign. Any suggestions? It only plays in 800X600 Windows 11 RX7900XTX I tried clearing cache, Repairing game, uninstalling and reinstalling, all updates and drivers are good. After a required update for the EA App, I can no longer play the games in full screen mode. As soon as either game starts, it uses a resolution that causes the game to play in a smaller display window. Hi I recently purchased the Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection to play the game of my Childhood Command and Conquer Generals but whenever I got to launch the game I get and Error that pops up saying "You have encountered a serious error. Serious errors can be caused by many things including viruses, overheated hardware and hardware that does not meet the minimum specifications for the game. Regarding the issue with Conquering Collection Packages, I hope EA can separate versions and let players download the games they need individually, rather than ordering the forced download of the ontology plus DLC, because I have already purchased Red Alert 3 and started the moment before. I made a collection purchase, but I lost the traditional Chinese game language of Red Alert 3, and forced me to download Uprising Moment when I downloaded Red Alert 3. As a result, the Uprising Moment I purchased separately on Halloween always had conflicting hopes, and it also made it very troublesome for me to install the mod and map of Red Alert 3. EA can let players download and install the games they need before each version is independently restored to download and run, instead of forcing the download of the main body and DLC! All C&C games i have were purchased a long time ago, and they were the ones with CDs and serial numbers. Unfortunately, these are no longer compatible with the latest OS. Hello, long time Command and conquer fan here and I was trying to to steam my game to discord and couldn't do it. For some reason, I keep getting a notification when I start the stream that "This game doesn't allow streaming." I looked to see what the issue why It doesn't allow streaming but it seems I can't find the issue, so I came here for some guidance/clarification/help to get it working or understand why it's not possible. I checked to see if it was a problem with discord so I tried twitch and the same issue persists. To be clear I'm playing the backwards compatible version on 360. Also, when I play red alert 3 there seems to be no issues there. Tiberium wars also has the same problem so I'm assuming it's just TW3 and TW3:KW. Recently purchased a new computer. all drivers and updates are completed. When i attempt to change the graphics settings in both Generals and Generals Zero hour I am limited and if I choose anything other than the default 800X600, It attempts to change but freezes and you cant click accept or cancel, nothing. I tried repairing the game and clearing the cache to no avail. I even uninstalled and reinstalled. However when I play red Alert 3, All the different graphics display in settings and i can set it to highest with no issues. So what's up with Zero Hour? Command and Conquer Ultimate. Once again getting the message starting today failed to launch game, an error on our end caused the launch to fail.Try again a little later. This is not the first time this has happened with this game, I do not see why it requires any permissions at all from your servers in the first place, there is no online services used in the game. SUBJECT: Redeeming Codes for "Command & Conquer Ultimate Collection (2012)." I just got this Collection delivered. Went out and bought a new 4 TB External Drive to install the 17 games on. Great start. The problem starts with the info on the "How to Download Your Games" sheet was printed back in 2012, about 12 years old. They keep referring to "Origin," go to Origin.com to get a "desktop client" to use to launch the downloads, create an account at Origin, etc.. What the H!?$ is Origin? You have to start by Redeeming a product code in order to start downloading the 17 games. Problem: I managed to get to an EA site, set up as a New Member, tried to Redeem the codes there, got to a page where it asked me to enter the 20 digit code, then the next page was to start the download. It did not do anything there. It kept going in circles, and reminded me that my codes were already entered, but that was it. The AI Chat-bot was useless. It could not recognize basic questions, not even the questions it said that if you asked them using those words, it would respond with an answer. Then I went to the EA Help section, there a guy asked a question about problems with Redeeming codes, a Volunteer's response was to direct him to an Origin site to get an App from there to use. Problems: Question, and advice was from 2008-ish. But, it gave me the idea of finding the EA App, and setting that up. Well, miracles do happen. The EA App had all the games set up there. The codes were Redeemed, even thought the EA site would show a list of them, but not download them. At the EA App, I moused over a game and it had a Download tab, clicking on that started the game downloading. The games showed up on the left side under "Installed games." I clicked on all the tabs, the games queued up for downloading. Icons for each game set up on the computer, as soon as the last game is downloaded, I will do a Restart to see what happens. Supposedly I log into the EA App, pick a game from the Installed Games list on the Left Side to pick a game to play each time I want to play one. There should be info on the EA page that says Origin does not exist anymore, to go to the EA page to join as a Member, then download the EA App, then Redeem codes there. Hello all, I have bought the ultimate collection and was playing both games on windows 11 just fine. However, when i switched to a newly purchased laptop, also running windows 11 (CORE i7, 16GB RAM, Windows 11 Pro), both games started encountering problems. The games don't save, the history and achievements don't show, and the maps don't load. No matter how many times i play. the game still shows 0 as my total games played. Attached is a screenshot of the screen that the game goes back to anytime i either launch the game or after i finish a skirmish game. Can you please let me know how to resolved this issue?
