Trying to install C&C 1 from the the original CD, but I'm getting errors
I have a PC that I've NEVER put online, running Win XP Pro (32-bit version: 5.1.2600 SP3, build: 2600) with an AMD Athlon 64 3700+ Processor, nor will I ever put it on the internet. When trying to run INSTALL.EXE on the CD, I'm getting this message, "Unable to load SETUP.MIX file from CD-ROM disk. Press any key after inserting CD_ROM disc or press ESC to exit." Mind you, the CD is in the drive, which is how I was able to click on the INSTALL.EXE file. With Windows Explorer, I can clearly see the SETUP.MIX file. Why then am I not able to run the install?!?
I Can't install and play the original "C&C The First Decade" disk on iMac 2013
Has anyone had the same issues while installing the game? When I installed the original C&C The First Decade CD ROM, but when I tried to get the game started, my iMac doesn't seem to support it. The CD ROM box says Windows OS...no Mac so I'm assuming I would need something to make it work. I then went to the EA website and I was able to download and install the EA App and I found the game under "All EA games under one roof" catalog, strategy genre. However, when I select the any of the C&C options, I get the following error when trying to upload the page: "Application error: a client-side exception has occurred while loading http://www.ea.com (see browser console for more information)." Can anyone help?C&C Generals zero Hour
I played solo campaign on medium difficulty up to stage 4. It beat the hell out of me and had to restart mission 12 times. Decided to restart solo campaign on easy. Discovered that i can change the resolution and changed from 800 x 600 to 1920 x 860 I think. I played to stage 4 beginning again. Saved the game and shut down laptop. Today if i want to start the game it says i must make sure i have at least direct x 8.1 or higher installed and that my graphics card is supported. I have direct x 12 installed. after clicking on ok the EA app says i need to do repairs because files are corrupted. Did it 5 times. No positive results Uninstalled the game. restarted the laptop. Installed it again. Same problem. Because i cannot even start the game i cannot change the resolution back to what it was so i am not having any plan to fix the problem. please assist anyoneCan't save game...
Purchased at Epic PC. LOAD GAME always gery out then I found saved games in Mission Select. But after I restart the game, everything's gone including saved progress, bonus galley etc. Searched online, below's what I tried but never sorted it out. No "CncRemastered" folder in my user folder, created one and a "save" folder under it. Antivirus and OneDrive disabled.Progress is not saving...

Hi I recently purchased the Command and Conquer Ultimate Collection to play the game of my Childhood Command and Conquer Generals but whenever I got to launch the game I get and Error that pops up saying "You have encountered a serious error. Support refused for legacy C&C Generals with proof (Case #242030733)
Hi everyone, I am a long-time fan and legal owner of the physical Command & Conquer Generals Deluxe Edition and Zero Hour. Since my current PC does not have a disk drive, I wanted to have these legacy games entitled to my EA account. I have contacted live support twice today (Case #242030733). I provided high-resolution photos of my original discs, the box, and the serial keys. I even included a personalized note with my name, date, and email in the photo to prove I physically own the items right now. Shockingly, both advisors (Niranjan and Parpaj) insisted that I must contact the "retailer" for a receipt. This game was purchased nearly 23 years ago (around 2003)! It is physically impossible for any retailer (like D&R in Turkiye) to provide a receipt after two decades. I find this request very unreasonable for a legacy product. I am attaching my proof of ownership here. Can a Community Manager please look into this case and help me add these classics to my library? I just want to play the games I legally own. C&C 3 TIBERIUM WARS
My old machine does not run win 11 or surf with fiber without some sort of hack that being said i had to break down and future proof again my new machine i3 14100 , RTX 5050 , 16 gig DDR5 QUESTION ? my new machine fan screams and CPU temps hit 70 degree Celsius and GPU fans don't spin at all i limited the FPS in the Nvidia app to 20 FPS the CPU fan is still screaming and the GPU fans don't spin at all and the CPU it is still just hitting 70 degree C the reason i ask is my old cpu ran at 3.4 GHZ max with a GTX 1050 super and it stayed cool as a cucumber
Game suggestions
The game is awesome but it can be better with 1) Match against bots : I guess it's too early but how it works .well you setup a custom match with a bot commander you can setup it's deck or random but makes some sense ( like not having a deck full with only anti air ) 2) graphics settings : presets or slider 3) maybe a video to showcase a unit (but I guess that will be unnecessary if number one is done) 4) alliance chat notification That's all I have in mind If something else comes in mind I will update (I don't know if this is allowed or not lol)Missing GDI Rival Race rewards
If I am not wrong our alliance won first in the recent GDI Rival Race in C&C Rivals but I did not remember opening the Colossal Chest. 2 days later NOD Rival Race concludes and we did get the second price chest. There are no game log that I can check to verify. Any advise appreciated. ThanksScroll speed is too fast (C&C)
I know this is a common problem, but I've tried absolutely everything. I tried downloading the unofficial First Decade patch (http://cnp.cncnz.com/tfd/#.Ua9Q7B-nmRh) but it won't install. IIRC First Decade was installed all at once, and this patch is probably looking for some kind of evidence of that installation. I'm not sure. Either way it won't install. Enabling back buffer in either ccsetup.exe or the unofficial patch (which I also installed) doesn't do a **bleep** thing. I even tried using CPU Grabber at 5 flippin' percent and it STILL scrolls too fast. At this point I was sufficiently annoyed to just cheat my way through the **bleep** game. NO CHEATS EXIST. Ok...how about a trainer? I found one C&C Ultimate trainer, but you can only download it from a site you need to pay a go...shdarned fee to sign up. I'm at my wit's end, here. I just want to make the game playable. EDIT: I'm using Windows 7, 64-bit.
Unable to Play Zero Hour
I am unable to load my Challenge progress in Zero Hour - whenever I try to the loading screen comes up for the General vs General but then it immediately says "Defeated". I'm playing the game through the EA App and it's the full licensed version of the game (no cracks, illegal copies etc). I've never had an issue until went to play it today (save file is from 4 month ago), when the game closes I get a prompt that some files are corrupted and the app offers a repair. 5 times I've repaired so far and still it's a problem. I've already attempted the license key "fix" of adding the dashes into the default key under HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Electronic Arts\EA Games\Command and Conquer Generals Zero Hour\ergc but that hasn't fixed it. I've also tried modifying my options.ini file as I've seen in places online but still no joy :-( EA doesn't seem to offer support for this title according to the list of games to raise issues with via their site so I'm hoping that someone can advise what is going on and how I can fix this...
C&C Red Alert 1 freezes for some seconds
Hi. I have a problem with Red Alert Command & Conquer The game freezes for a fiew seconds over and over again. And the display turns black and the game apears again. the ea app also is not responding i repaired the game but no result. i run it as admin. does it need directx 9? Help me ..

Liquid Ocelot here, formerly known by the CNC community as DvtAntiDarWIN There has been no news about new CNC game from EA games now word on the street is that the majority of the shares of Electronic Arts are purchased by Saudi Arabia; Now the Saudi Arabians love soccer that is why we see new FC game titles each year also we see Battlefield titles updated and mumbo jumbo. The question is will there ever be a new Command And Conquer title ever released please some one guide me and also Is Jim Vasella still under EA Payroll where is he?
