Server issues
Online game servers haven't been right since mid November for the remasters. The match coordinator seems to be fine, but something happens after games are coordinated, and the server drops the ball resulting in a client bug >50% of the time on average. We really love the remasters, please help us get the game back to a playable status, as right now it is not for the vast majority. Playing a competetive online game is an extreme sport in patience right now, and sometimes an exercise in futility.
Game destroying server issues
EA please can you fix the server issues blighting C&C remastered. There’s an awesome community that has grown up around it over the last few years and the fact no one can now play against each other is going to destroy it. Maybe 2 out of 10 multiplayer matches now actually start, and because of this it’s not worth playing any longer. Issues started about November. Thanks!
The multiplayer keeps giving problems
The whole C&C community struggles with multiplayer for red alert remastered, sometimes it works sometimes not. The game either stick where you select rules etc for multiplayer or it launches and gives a black screen. Please can EA have a look we are a lot of people playing and still enjoying this game.Game Browser - Mods
I've been trying to get mods to work with Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath. I was able to use the EA Game Browser to do so years ago. I'd prefer to launch either game this way so I can choose a mod, and not have to modify files to play the various versions of the game. I've followed all of the instructions on the EA site to install the mods. But, any time I try launch either game with a mod, regardless of whether the target has been modified for the shortcut, the EA app displays a slashscreen where you can choose one of the original versions of either game. As a result, it only allows me to play the originals. For example, the target is: "D:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Command and Conquer 3 TW and KW\Command Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\CNC3.exe" -modconfig "C:\Users\jimbob\Documents\Command & Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars\Mods\The Forgotten\config.txt" Is there a work around?
Red Alert 1 original game is stuck on the menu screen. No selection's
Hello, Red Alert 1 the original game is not able tos tart on windows 11. I own both games on EA App, Origin, and Steam. But for now, the version from EA app stops at the red alert screen. No intro, no cutscenes. Just right into the red alert menu where you are suppose to select, new mission, counterstrike and aftermath, are no where to see. It's almost like the background is only a picture. I will attach a picture. Is there any solution for this. I am running on windows 11 at the moment.
Game opens, Kicks me
C&C remastered both games open without a problem, once in the game if i press any thing e.g load a game or skirmish it kick me off the game and give me a crash report with goes on for ever, i have emailed EA and keep getting the same email from different people, which i have have and none of it worked. its not a connection problem, my drivers are fully up to date, i have tried clearing the cache, i have uninstalled the and reinstalled the game. it was running fine until it was not. i am running windows 11, Radeon 9070 16Gb, Ryzen 96000X, 32Gb DDR5. i have tried turning off the game overlay and its made no difference. ANY HELP PLEASE
Black screen after chosing C&C or Red alert
Cant start the game ...After pushing the start icon and selecting C&C or Red alert butten there is only a black screen..... I have tryied editing the conquer.ini file and set the resolution to 1920x1080 (it was set to 0 but with no luck....... tryed DXdiag tool with no bugs running the newest GF drivers Please help......Can't Start the Game.
So this game was one of my favourites growing up. I suddenly remembered the game and downloaded it to play through the EA games app. INow the problem is that (after running the patch as well) the game doesn't start. Just the starting pop up screen shows and than Generals.exe is not responding. I would love your help if someone can tell me what I am doing wrong.. I have twice deleted and reinstalled but the same problem is persisting. Any help would be appreciated
C&C Servers Are Broken
This has been an ongoing issue for years, the servers that host Command and Conquer Remastered do not work well. A game might connect or might not. It might hang or not. As a community we have reported this for years. EA takes 0 action. I even went as far as to contact a very well known video game developer and he reached out to EA for me. Still, no action. I realize that old games do not receive the love they should and it frankly comes down to money and returns. Still, if you are going to host a game, try to give a **bleep**. Fix your servers. We paid money. We expect things to at least work 20% of the time.
Kane’s Wrath missing from my EA App library (C&C Collection)
Hey everyone, I'm hoping someone here can help or maybe an EA community manager can take a look at this. A couple of weeks ago, I wanted to reinstall some of my favorite old games. I own the Command & Conquer bundle on EA App (the one that includes all the titles and expansions), and I’ve always been able to play them all — especially Kane’s Wrath, which is my favorite. But recently, I noticed that Kane’s Wrath has completely disappeared from my library. All the other C&C titles are still there and install just fine, but this one is just gone. I’ve already tried everything I could think of — clearing cache, reinstalling EA App, checking for account mix-ups, etc. I even submitted a support ticket about two weeks ago, but I haven’t received any reply yet. Has anyone else run into this problem? Or maybe EA is aware of it?Any help or info would be greatly appreciated. I just really want to play it again. AlexRevival of Comand and Conquer Generals.
Hey EA. Ive always loved your games. Especially the command and.Conquer and Red Alert games. Would.love to hear hear if the team at EA would consider Reviving and also continuing with games like Comand and conquer Generals/ Generals zero hour. It's possible a good reboot in higher quality graphics 1920 by 1080 + of that 2002/3 Era might succeed. Also Original Red 1 and 2 were and still are amazing. The world has changed yes.and so have many games. Honestly ive always found your games to be more solid and over the years still play many of them. Thank you for awesome entertainment. You all Rock.
