@sk1lldI had a Razer Vespula, was a fantastic pad so of course they stopped making it. You could flip the surface for fine mouse work or gaming (fast). Years of gaming and maybe the odd rage quit warped the surface lol. They came out with the Sphex V2. It was dirt cheap but the same surface as the old one. I trimmed it and it fits the old surface. It’s a hard surface, so you need to consider first if you want a soft or hard surface. None of the good gaming pads come with a wrist rest, which I realize is so they can sell you both separately and gouge you in your wallet. I think you get what you pay for, I find the hard surface makes me feel like there’s less friction, but will wear out my mouse feet quicker. It’s such an individual choice that I suggest you go out to Best Buy or something and physically try different ones out. Good luck!
Razer has a V3 now, it’s boring but cheap and effective: https://www.razer.com/ca-en/gaming-mouse-mats/razer-sphex-v3
I’d splurge and get a nice wrist rest though.
