So this also happened to me, and I freaked out. Its a kill switch for when the game thinks someone is running two copies of the game(i.e someone got a copy off line instead of buying it). It was me hitting play in origin, me clicking which game I wanted to play, and then hitting the command and conquer button at the bottom. The problem is, the button at the bottom is to view the credits. So clicking it, after clicking the one you want to play registers as two copies as trying to play....I hope this is what happened to you! Hope it helps!
