Language change possible?

Try the following, the instructions are based on Windows 7 64-bit tho.

1. Press the Start Button/Orb and enter regedit in the field at the bottom (where you can search for stuff).

2. This Step depends on your OS Type.

For 32-Bit:

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> EA Games -> Dead Space 3 and change the entry "Locale" from de_DE to en_US

For 64-Bit

Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> EA Games -> Dead Space 3 and change the entry "Locale" from de_DE to en_US

3. That should be it.

A list of possible Locale entries:

de_DE (German)

en_US (English)

es_ES (Spanish)

fr_FR (French)

it_IT (Italian)

ru_RU (Russian)

Using Origin to install gives me no install options.

There is nothing i can select to change my language.

But i will try the regedit method

EDIT: changing to en_US did nothing. game still starts up in full german (text and sound) ven after a reboot.

Okay, if you cannot select the language while installing, then your Installation is bound to the type of language, which you have chosen while purchasing it...or if you bought it from a local retailer, then it most likely is bound to your region language, like German, English etc.

After rechecking with my retailer he displays his options with english - UK as a possible language.

It could be possible that the game language is determined by the language of your Origin client. Is your client set to German? If yes, then maybe change it to English US/GB and test it again, if the game language doesn't change you might need to re-install it.

Actually I don't know if this will work, but might be worth a try 🙂

I tried changing the registry but it doesn't work.

What is futkuroyukihime's method? I can't find it, could you explain it?

Thanks man!! Works great, and Thanks a lot for the clarification about x32 and x64 systems. Cause I saw a video where it wasn't explained, so I got stucked.
