Now that this is "solved" will anyone from Bioware still look in here? I found something interesting when I unlocked the Hero of Fereldan's letter to the Inquisitor. It had both headers, one refering to the inquisitor as a man, and then below it one refering to the inquisitor as a woman.
Could this bug be caused by the game having both male and female checks active similtaniously, and the female check is done second, and therefore dominant?

Yes, we are still looking into this issue. Please note however that any potential fix would come with a patch.

How about some idea when this will get fixed? This is a pretty big issue and more people are posting about the whole gender thing.
Want to speed up the process? Viral video of the bug won't hurt... Normally I wouldn't be into shaming devs with bug videos, but this one is too big to forgive, expecially for a Bioware game that pushes gender boundaries so much.
I am also experiencing the issue... male warrior being addressed as 'm'lady' every 10 minutes. It makes me laugh every time, but I can see how some people want to take the story a little more seriously than I do. I feel for you people :/
And now that I think about it, I also had the nameless weapons in my inventory, so the game thinks I'm a rogue too?

No that is not necessarily the case. Many game developers have failed to give an ETA even when they know one, sometimes it is becuase they do not want their feet held to the fire, others is becuase they have no clue and do not want to show how little they actually know about fixing the bugs, still more becuase they just forgot.
But I am sure you KNOW this already, right?
SO I ask again how about an ETA or at least a status on this issue.
I should add that when I chatted with the online representitive he literally said they would have a response to this issue in 48 hours, well it has been 96 hours, so much for that BS.
