How to install DLCs for DragonAge 2 on Steam (EA Play)

I have already downloaded all Dlcs from this website https://help.ea.com/au/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/

but when I tried to install it, it said DA2 needs to be installed first but I have already installed it. Can someone help please?

I have spent several hours trying to get this to work. Found another solution, Easiest step to fix DLC issues for DA 2 Ultimate Edition from EA Play on Steam.
I will write it down here for future reference, it might be helpful for another player if they came across my post. This is 100% guarantee fixed for STEAM user
1. Open Dragon Age 2 and Login, after login is completed, quit the game
2. download all dlc from https://help.ea.com/au/help/faq/dlc-for-classic-games/
3. download 7zip from https://www.7-zip.org/ (You have to install 7zip, only 7zip can let you open inside .exe file, RAR won't let you do that)
4. After you done installing 7zip. go to your desired dlc .exe and use your mouse
- right click, search for 7zip and click it, click open archive
5.you will see folders inside .exe file for example
$TEMP,
$PLUGINSDIR,
$_2_
6. Open each of its folders and drag all items into :\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age II\addins
7.Open the game and enjoy

Tried SaveConfig also not working, Check under Add-ons still not working, as it's not found

Try to put the DLC installer exe inside the DA2 game folder and run it from there.

@holger1405D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age II\addins this, or on which folder? Because I tried and it's not working either

@holger1405 D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Dragon Age II also tried to copy all DLC and paste here, and then tried to run .exe on this location, still not working

Make sure EA app and Steam are completely closed.

Go here and download the "Revo Uninstaller". (The freeware version, Portable version works too.)

Run "Revo Uninstaller" > Uninstall DA2.

At the end of the main uninstall, Revo will ask you which cleaning method you want to use. > Select "Intensive" > Browse.

If "Remaining registration content found" is displayed > Select All > Delete > Next

When "Remaining Data and Folders" is displayed > Select All > Delete.

Restart the PC > Download DA2 from Steam again > Restart your PC > Start DA2 for one time > Test.

You should be able to see if they're installed in steam (if you right click Dragon Age 2 in your library list, and then click "properties" and then "DLC", you should see check marks next to each of them if they are installed). I did this and was confused why they weren't working. https://omegle.onl/
Turns out, I wasn't logged in to my EA account in game. So if you open up the game, it should prompt you to log in with your EA account. This made everything work for me- if that doesn't work, not sure what else could be preventing them from popping up. I have the EA app on my laptop as well since it launches through the app (which I haaaaate)

@s1otann tried and not working even when i have already logged in with an account. but luckily the method above works for me. i think some ppl might have a different way of problems, some can be resolved easily, some are quite hard like me xD
