I have the same problem and it drives me nuts. Tried everything.
I have a dual Xeon with 2xCores I read somewhere it has to do with multicore CPUs but not sure.
PLEASE EA patch this game, I can neither run it on Origin nor Steam, both crash immediately on launch.
