Re: Multiplayer: Firestorm knockdown causing key not dropping

This is being looked into, thanks for the post. Non-registered animal deaths seem to be the main cause, but any extra information helps. 

For now, a "workaround" is to have the party host leave, thus forcing a migration and starting the area again. If you're in a private match then they can join back on you. It's hardly ideal, but it might help when playing with friends. 

I will restate now: Well over 100 games personally played without Firestorm use among my friends and we have had the key not drop only twice from the templar assassin glitch. Whenever we bring Firestorm into the equation 9/10 games get glitched.

This whole Animal theory started by players on the forums might be the occasional cause(I wont say it is wrong but between hudnreds of games among my friends and me we have not experienced it) but it is just plain innacurate to attribute it as the cause of most problems. If you look at the video shown by PenguinFetish the last animal was killed while CC'd by Firestorm. 

We have killed so many animals last and the key drops every time for us. *shrug*

Thanks for the extra info. I have actually seen once case myself where a firestormed* templar didn't seem to die correctly, leading to this issue too. It happened once, and it was before the Destruction DLC, but it seems like it has a similar base cause.

*specifically it was a multi-aoe smackdown, but firestorm was part of it. 

I play with my son so I usually host the game.. guess what, I ended up wasting almost 2 hours of my game time due to this horrendous bug.  Yes, I as the host leave but in doing so I then don't get any exp or bonus gold and have to wait for however long for the game to finish (so he can at least get his exp) so I can rejoin him.  THEN you have to wait forever for match making to work and get another full team.  Even worse when You finally have a decent team the bug comes up and ruins it.

And yes, my son is playing an elementalist so that might explain why it was happening so much. In fact I had to quit more games then I finished because of this bug and basically I quit playing because I was sick and tired of getting cheated out of experience by this game breaking bug.

This needs to be fixed ASAP.
