Thanks when I'm back in that neck of the woods of the hinterlands I'll give it another go and see what it takes to get that shard. As I've been trying to it from the front where you can see the shard itself.

For tricky jumps I've found that using a mount can help to get up otherwise-unscaleable Sections. Parkour Horse can handily perform feats that would end up with a quick trip to the glue factory in real life.
I don't think I got this shard yet - in my most recent save I've just finished off the Ferelden Frostback and haven't gotten to scour the area - but perhaps the tip will help. - Anonymous11 years ago
well this isn't a tricky jump you have to get up to kind of circular rock thing for which has square things on parts of it as well. There is barely enough room for one pc and then you can only jump up to a certain point. and then they are to high to jump up to the next higher one. So I don't think a horse would be able to get up there.
