- cosmoblivion7 years agoSeasoned HotshotI wish those instructions were more specific too. Maybe I am putting the files in the incorrect folder? Thanks much for answering at all! xo
@cosmoblivion; You should NOT put any of the files downloaded from the "Legacy DLC" site into any of your games' folders. They should go some/anywhere else.
I use a separate storage drive for my downloads. You decide what works for you.
- All of the ".exe" files should simply be run. They'll install themselves.
- All of the ".dazip" files should be installed with the built-in utility program "DAUpdater.exe", which can be found in the game's "\bin_ship" folder.
(On my rig that would be "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Dragon Age\bin_ship", YMMV. 😎 )

@ThandalNLymanomg this finally helped me install it all!! There were other solutions where I was supposed to use some other exe files but those simply wouldn't run even on a cleanly installed game on a new laptop without old saves or whatnot, thank you SO MUCH for saying how to do it!!!!
- @Fred_vdp Thank you SO much for linking there, other solutions on the net didn't work for me, so THANKS!!!
