Okay managed to find  a fix for this that worked for me at least. After finding them go away far enough that they are no longer being active in your game I just walked down the hill fought a mibari at the bottom them came back and I could hurt the darkspawn so finished it up.

I had the same troubles.

Walking away from the fight and coming back after a few seconds as mentioned by Sternguard solved the issue for me (PC). Thanks for the hint.

Thanks, the workaround did work for me. Must be a parting gift from the latest patch because I can guarantee it wasn't bugged before.
