Were you able to try running the Windows System File Checker? Are you still seeing the same issue?

I'm having the same problem, however I've tried repairing the file, uninstalling and re-installing it and nothing has worked

Im having the same issue on a new computer. I've ran the file checker, and installed the C++ files to help me fix my problem with the origin launcher not installing. Both these things got the launcher to work, to install the game+DLC's, and when I go to launch I get the very same error and the live chat has been offline for help. Is there anything else we can try?

This error can also come up if NVIDIA PhysX isn't installed on your PC. Even if you're not using an NVIDIA GPU, DA:O is still looking for PhysX. 

When you have the chance I'd recommend downloading PhysX directly from the NVIDIA website to see if that helps at all. Let me know if you're still getting the same error message after that.
