Re: Thanks EA for making it damned impossible to complete 2 quests!

Not acceptable as now I have 2 quest which can't be completed. They should NEVER have put a coin AND a stach box in a place you'll never get to.

The "caprice" and "secrets" missions are there to boost your favor with the court. Completing them for the sake of completion is pointless as long as your court approval is high. those missions are simply a means to an end, and you don't have to complete them to meet that end.

I didn't need quests to help me with Court Approval, I already was at 100%.

Then there's no point continuing these quests. Focus on the main mission.

With regards to the halla statues:

I'm seeing on Forum's that there are 11 halla statues that can be picked up.  However, on my XBox One game, the quest shows a maximum of 10.  I chose to ignore the door on the outside of the palace so that I would be able to open the top garden door -3 as that is mandatory to advance the story/quest.  Also the bottom garden door -3 so as to get all the coins and the Red Jenny Stashes.  6 total used, and there were 5 more I found.  But, my total only counts up to 10, thus I cannot get into the Empresses' private rooms, telling me I need one more halla statue.  I've already collected them all and now I cannot get in there.  Anyone else having this issue?

@FyreDrake76 There are 11 halla statues, but the quest to collect them all only requires you to find 10. You have to choose which doors you want to open (only one is required, and it only uses 1 statue, I believe. This is the door up the trellis in the garden, where the singer is). The others you can either save to open the 2 treasure doors at the end, use to open Celene's vault, use to open Celene's bedroom, use to open the garden door to get to the area where Varric is... They all require different numbers of statues to open, and it's not possible to open them all (unless you're on PC and use a mod or save editor). It's been a while, so there may be others I've forgotten. 

If all you've opened is the mandatory door and the lower garden door, and you have found all the statues, you should have 7 left to open an extra door (or two, depending on the doors). Certain doors are necessary to open for certain outcomes of the main quest (who becomes ruler of Orlais), so I wouldn't get too caught up with getting all the coins or blackmail, it's easy to get high enough court approval without it.
