Re: How do I uninstall Dragon Age Inquisition BETA?

I presume you did the "advanced" set-up for the Beta, which means you didn't do a completely new install but just the changed / additional files.  (if you did a full "separate install", then you can indeed "uninstall" that one.)

So you should have two different sets of folders under "\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games".  One; "\Dragon Age Inquisition", and another; "\Dragon Age Inquisition - Beta".

a) Simply Delete the "Beta" one.

b) Use a registry clean-up utility (I use the free "cclean", but there are others) to remove the orphaned pointers.

c) Set the DAI Beta title in your EA/Origin "My Games" to "Hidden".  (Even with a Game Advisor's help, I could not get the title removed completely from my account.)

Good Luck!

Tried all  that now, but it onlt works as long as I don't restart Origin. Once I'm forced to do that, the Beta version starts downloading again. Best I've come up with now is to pause the download and hope that the client remember this. But a better, more final solution is needed.
