Re: [AVG/Avast] Inquisition won't open on PC (Re-occurring after Origin update)

Hello! I've just recently bought DA:I (yesterday, as a matter of fact). I've installed the game (the GOTY edition) with no problems, but whenever I attempt to run the game, it does not load at all. Not even a black screen. My computer asks me if I want to run the program through a default Windows prompt, but then nothing else happens. In order to close the game, I have to end the "Activation UI" task in Task Manager so the play button for DA:I is no longer greyed out in Origin. For my circumstances, I am running the game in Windows 10, with all recent updates and drivers updated to the latest version. I have replaced AVG with Avast AND set exceptions for the Origin directory and Origin Games directory, as well as my save data folder in the Users directory, under Documents. I really want to play this game, because I've tried deleting the profile options file, reinstalling the game, repairing and updating it, deleting the patch folder contents and repairing it, and much more.
