One thing im thinking about - could theese settings im missing be badly programmed(positioned) and on eyefinity resolution (5760x1080) they are floating somewhere away of screen? Everything else working fine but who knows 🙂

Yes, that's probably it. I've heard this game has not been optimized for non-standard aspect ratios.

  • Hm, in window 1920x1080 there are here ... agh ... but no game which was not intended to run on widescreen works there so well especialy when cames to GUI ... Its a lil pain to change screen resolution whenever i need to change party tactics :D ... is there something i could do about it? Some bug report they would actualy try to resolve? I trust BioWare, they are making great games and im sure they would fix it but i dont trust EA, it has terrible marketing and support and im sure if i write some bug report to them they will not care. So is there BioWare bug tracker or something i could do about it?

There was lot of patches, are there still making any? 🙂

BioWare generally stops supportign games a year after the initial release, which is where we are now. They also don't have any official support channels, but they do have a feedback forum here: http://forum.bioware.com/forum/329-feedback-suggestions/

Sadly, BioWare's concerns are more towards console gamers nowadays. The game had some glaring PC specific issues at release, some of which they fixed, but many issues are still in the game. They even released a PC specific featurette before the game's release that I think they ended up regretting because of how dishonest it was. Another example is Mass Effect 3 where the HUD doesn't scale to resolution, which means any resolution that isn't 1280x720 has a user interface that doesn't have the correct size. This makes subtitles nearly impossible to read at high resolutions, even if the game natively supports them.

There is a mod called Flawless Widescreen that has configurations for many video games. The Dragon Age Inquisition plugin fixes cutscenes and DirectX crashes for triple monitor users, but not the behavior menu issue.

  • Thx for the insight how it works 🙂 ... I will try my luck with that BioWare forum you gived me link to, but i suppose it will not be solved. Where are theese days when devs listened to the comunity and tryed to fix everything they could because they really cared about their creation/game. Its heart taking to see smaller dev teams can do more in this way than bigger companies even if they are better funded.

It's an industry wide problem, and BioWare isn't even that bad. The biggest offenders are Ubisoft and Bethesda. The PC port of Fallout 4 is a disaster.

The Witcher 3 is an example of how games should be designed on PC. The menus look nice, mouse and keyboard controls work great, and performance is really good too. I get a better framerate in Witcher 3 on high than in Fallout 4 on ultra, despite the former looking much better.
