Patch 3 notes?
So, me and thousands of others have been waiting for patch 3 to fix the low performance issues. I just saw the patch 3 notes, and there's nothing written about performance, graphics fixes etc..

I read that the performance fixes will be on Update 4, which should be due out as early as March.
We should apparently be grateful ... 4 months post release {assuming that's even official and not just a wishful rumor} to make their first lacadasical token gesture at a SMALL fraction of the numerous performance and crash issues, while awful by most company standards, is for Bioware well ahead of the next to nothing level of post release maintenance they've done in the past.
Best case scenario is it'll be much too little, much too late for most who've already played or quit the game.
I wonder what they mean by "hitchy" converstations?

I have looked around on the BioWare forums and read some tweets, but I can't find a source either. I think it's a joke or speculation.
Let me see if I can find it with a cursory search ...
IGN has an article posted yesturday that mentions:
Executive producer Mark Darrah stated on Twitter recently that the patch’s roll out is close and will share more details once the developer has “it locked.”
No date is given however, so I have no idea where that March reference came from. Also, the list of issues addressed in 1.03 looks like just the tip of the proverbial iceberg (almost nothing regarding crashing or performance issues, only the lone least important of the three major balance breaking exploits ... its mostly just superficial dialog and critter behavior, and an ability tweak or two, and that's it), so my earlier comment about it being much too little much too late still holds true, sadly. Typical Bioware.
Equally sad is that none of the major consumer review sites are pressing these companies for better responsibility on such matters either ... they keep on awarding GOTY accolades to titles that by all rights should be black dotted for poor reliability and post release support. I'd really like to see sites like IGN shine, and maintain, a much brighter light on such things than they have been. If that happened, we might actually see some much needed upfunding on Bioware's post release maintenance.
