Improving the download experience

Improving the downloading experience

As the title says, here's some ideas to improve the downloading experience, mostly the download manager.
For starters, make the estimate for remaining time less jumpy between the difference of 3mb/s. Make it round off from your average estimated time instead of a constant calculating of remaining time to prevent it from jumping up and down from 20-30 min every second.

Show more information when downloading, I'd like to get more info that my "download rate", such as disk usage, network usage, when the download started and the peak download speed.

Show download progress on the taskbar, similar to steam which has this feature it would be nice to show the download progress in a bar that moves as the percentage goes up on the EA icon on the Windows taskbar.

Allow us to change download region, also a feature of steam (lets not deny that steam has years of improvements on it's neck), is that you can change download region, this can come in handy when example a new game or update to a big game drops, and sometimes you can get better download speed by switching to a server that's further away and that has less people on it. (This feature is mostly for people with fast download speeds).

Allow us to throttle download speed without pausing, sometimes we want to play other games while downloading, and sometimes a download eats up everything it can. Allows to throttle downloads to prevent this.

That is all, for now.
