The EA app teams are aware of this feedback. At the moment, it is indeed not possible to file player reports directly via the EA app. The EA app is still in development and therefore it's very possible that not all planned features are present yet.
However, there are other ways to file a report: https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment/.
